InfoComm Asia | Leyard and Planar showed up in Thailand

Jul 17-19, the 2024 edition of InfoComm Asia, Southeast Asia’s only professional audiovisual event was held in Bangkok, Thailand. Leyard and its member Planar introduced cutting-edge technologies and multi-scenario solutions, such as UHD Micro LED products, LN series of popular rental products, MG series of classic NPP products at the event, demonstrating its technological leadership in the industry totheglobal audience. These products drew a large number of visitors.

Meeting the market demand
The MG series has achieved 1.7 billion CNY in sales globally. It is carefully designed in two versions of front and front-rear maintenance based on the concept of minimalism and features HDR, high frame rate, 3840Hz refresh rate, and DCI-P3 color gamut.
In 2024, Leyard has been developing and iterating products, releasing the next generation of MG series and MG COB series to address the escalating demand of customers in the new era.
Planar showcased the MGM series of Pro 0.7 Micro LED display products at the show. With up-to-date Micro LED flip chip and integrated packaging, this series provides higher stability, higher reliability, which solves the caterpillar problem, three times the contrast, 1.5 times the brightness, better uniformity, lower energy consumption, improved cost-effectiveness compared to previous products.
Planar iHub Micro LED, a kind of intelligent all-in-one machine, employs Leyard's proprietary main control chip and control system to create exquisite images and an immersive giant screen experience. This simple, highly integrated “all-in-one” series boasts ultimate thin screen, extremely narrow frame, super high screen-to-body ratio, is easy to install and use, and can be used for a wide range of applications including meeting rooms, classrooms, multi-function halls, lecture halls, exhibition halls, shopping malls and high-end home scenes.
In addition to the cutting-edge technologies and products, multi-scenario solutions under both brands that cover a wide range of fields such as digital out-of-home (DOOH) advertising, retail, hospitality, sports and entertainment were displayed at the show. Among them, the LN series of rental LED display solutions boasts user-friendly, modular design and lightweight structure, flexibility and perfect curvature, is easy to assemble and disassemble, and is suitable for a variety of occasions, such as exhibitions, concerts, conferences and sports events. The VDS series, on the other hand, adopts COB technology to provide excellent contrast, viewing angle and brightness, and is suitable for a wide range of highly demanding display scenarios.
Moreover, Leyard's highly praised products, including integrated, intelligent LCH II, lightweight, sturdy and simple HKS II, and highly adaptable, outdoor MGS were lauded by the visitors.
Expanding globally
Implementing a dual-brand strategy
In 2023, Leyard saw a rise of proportion of offshore revenue to 38.98%, and a rapid growth in AALA revenue for the third consecutive year.
In 2024, Leyard is further increasing overseas investments and implementing a dual-brand strategy, grabbing more high-end display market share with Planar and expanding mid- and economical markets in developed countries with Leyard.
Leyard is now steadily carrying out the 2024 development strategy and making efforts to reach the goals.
For grabbing more high-end market share, Leyard made a big splash at ISE 2024 on January 30 with DirectLight Slim, a new product from its Slovakia facility.
On April 14, Planar showcased Leyard’s strength as a global VFX technology & innovation leader with innovative products and solutions at the NAB Show 2024, hosted by the National Association of Broadcasters. On June 12, Planar created a sensation at InfoComm 2024, Las Vegas, with industry-leading products and solutions, such as UHD display and pioneering remote monitoring application which won the Best in Show and the Installation Product Award, respectively. Leyard keeps meeting the various demands of the high-end display market through innovative products and solutions.
In expanding mid- and economical markets in developed countries, Leyard organized the "Growing with Leyard" event in Vietnam on April 5 to promote growth and cooperation in the ASEAN region through technological innovation.
On April 21, Leyard demonstrated its innovation strength at Sound:Check Xpo, Mexico's top event for music and entertainment industry professionals, with a view to moving the Latin American entertainment industry forward with advanced LED solutions. On May 21, Leyard introduced its latest innovative LED display solutions at Integrate Middle East Expo 2024, Dubai, keeping setting new standards for the LED display industry with cutting-edge technology and offering unrivalled performance and versatility for a wide range of applications.
